I have worked in marketing, research, and communication in both agency and non-profit organizations for over 15 years, including Pivot Marketing, Newfields, Arts Council of Indianapolis, and GANGGANG. Most recently I served as co-chair and subject matter consultant for the inaugural I Made Rock 'N' Roll Festival honoring authorship and artistry of Black Americans in Rock music. Mirror Indy, Free Press Indiana's inaugural newsroom, has been producing news that is OF the people. I see my neighbors, friends, and community reflected in this journalism. I want this for all the communities in the state where news gaps exist.
