I am an award-winning multimedia journalist, business owner and community leader. I am thrilled to use my unique perspective and varied skillset toward elevating the news ecosystem in our state. Outside of work, I serve as executive director of The Friends of Belmont Beach and am the immediate past president of the Indianapolis Press Club Foundation board among other volunteer roles. My work has garnered recognition from the Society of Professional Journalists, Hoosier State Press Association, National Newspaper Publishers Association, the Association for Multicultural Affairs in Transplantation, Neighborhoods USA, LISC and INRC among other honors. In 2022, I was named to the Indianapolis Business Journal’s Forty Under 40. For fun, I enjoy hanging out on the porch with my cat, spending time with family and friends and exploring nature.
